Welcome to Dodja Errands. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The service

Dodja Errands is a marketplace that connects people who need errands done ("errand creators") with people who run them ("runners"). We provide the platform, matching, payment holding and support. The errand itself is an agreement between the errand creator and the runner.

2. Accounts

You must be 18 or older, give accurate information, and keep your login private. You are responsible for everything done through your account. One person, one account.

3. Payments, fees and escrow

When a errand creator posts an errand, the budget is held in their Dodja wallet (escrow). It is released to the runner when the errand creator's delivery code is entered, when the errand creator confirms a photo delivery, or when our support team resolves a dispute. Dodja charges a platform fee on each errand, shown before you post. Tips go to the runner in full. Promotional discounts are funded by Dodja and may be withdrawn at any time.

4. Cancellations

An errand creator may cancel an open errand for a full refund. After a runner has accepted but before pickup, an errand creator may still cancel; a small cancellation fee, shown in the app, goes to the runner for their trip. After pickup, errands cannot be cancelled by either side; use Report a problem instead. A runner may release an errand they have accepted before pickup. Repeated releases may limit a runner's access to errands.

5. Delivery codes and proof

Errand creators must only share the delivery code once they have received their item. Sharing it early is at the errand creator's own risk. Runners must only mark an errand delivered when it has been handed over, and photo proof must be genuine.

6. Runner verification and payouts

Runners may be asked to verify their identity with a government ID, a selfie and a guarantor. Withdrawals are sent to the bank account the runner provides; incorrect details are the runner's responsibility. Withdrawals may be paused while a dispute involving the runner is open.

7. Conduct

You agree to treat others with respect, follow the law, and not use Dodja Errands for anything unlawful, unsafe or prohibited, including illegal goods, weapons, drugs, or anything that requires a licence you do not hold. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

8. Disputes

If something goes wrong, use Report a problem in the app. Payment is frozen while we review. Our decision on the release or refund of held funds is final within the platform, without affecting your legal rights.

9. Liability

Dodja Errands is a marketplace and does not itself carry out errands. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts or omissions of errand creators or runners, or for loss or damage to items, beyond the amount held in escrow for that errand. We will always help resolve problems in good faith.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We will post changes here and in the app; continued use after a change means you accept it.
